Nice. 👍

mawibblap responds:

thanks! :D

This is one of the most beautiful submissions I've ever seen on here. I love how you were able to give the impression of translucence in certain areas, and I'm totally amazed with how well you were able to portray the lighting in her hair.

Demp responds:

Thank you Bren really appreciated :)

haha interesting - I was just reading about a study they did proving that this is EXACTLY what happens. The biggest homophobes were the most aroused by gay porn.

deathink responds:

Haha, marvelous!

I'll definitely be keeping my eyes open for a Kickstarter campaign. I really like what you're doing here.

odditiesbyangela responds:

:) should be up within the next few months

Some of these zoom WAY in for me. I'm super impressed with the level of detail.

odditiesbyangela responds:

Thanks :). They zoom way in for everyone because I'm a jerk and didn't change the image size to something logical

Holy smokes, that is some doodle! :)

Sabtastic responds:

lol thanks Bren!

This one took probably 3 hours off and on. <:

If you ever sell prints of this one, I'd probably buy it. Pretty cool!

Sabtastic responds:

I'll keep that in mind Bren, thanks! P:

Huge fan of your artwork man! It was good meeting you and everyone else at the NG offices when you guys were all there during the power outage.

TheShadling responds:

Cheers man, thanks for the computer advice and helping me install the drivers correctly.

In the image, clearly you're looking at the computer screen. In your self-portrait, you look far more somber - like that of someone who has seen some shit ha. Not that I am any kind of art critic, but that's what stood out for me.

Sabtastic responds:

lol! It's true! If you look at any artists self portrait studies---especially those drawn in real-time and not from a photo reference, the artist looks either sad, angry or mega depressed because they're SO focused on the little details of their face.. Expression tends to be the last thing on their mind. xD

Thanks for the 5/5 Bren!

Now is this style art deco or art nouveau? Ha I'm no expert on this stuff, but the style reminded me of the Empire State Building and Wikipedia said art deco and it's a LOT like the Bioshock style (which, thanks to the game, is now completely creepy to me ha). Or is it a mix of the two?

Sabtastic responds:

Huh! Just googled art deco style -- I see your point!

I hadn't heard of the style you mentioned before, but I'm a huuuuge fan of Alphonse Mucha and his general decorative art nouveau style. I probably subconsciously saw the deco style stuff in the game and was reminded about Mucha's stuff. :P

Thanks again for the nice review!
